All That We Fought For

Bones, sinking like stones,
All that we fought for,
Homes, places we’ve grown,
All of us are done for.
And we live in a beautiful world,
There’s nothing here to run from,
Yeah, everybody here’s got somebody to lean on…

The grim reality that stares us right in the face, everyday, every moment of our life, we can look away every once in a while, but you can’t run forever, once in a while you’ll have to come in sync with what’s going on around you. This piece has tinges of darkness surrounding it, encompasses what you’re supposed to see as a viewer, and as always, in my artworks you’ll find a ray of hope hidden somewhere, somehow. The song is called Don’t Panic by Coldplay, it happens to be one of my personal favorites and it goes so well this photograph. The shot was taken at Pushkar, Rajasthan, India last year.
