Punctuate The Blankness

Today I woke up to a revolution of snow, it’s that flaky layer of white waving over everything. The landscape vanished, not a single entity to punctuate the blankness. What if this season, I thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if this season, perhaps, means a little bit more.

Well I was in such a great mood while I was working on this particular one. The gleeming picture that kept appearing in my mind while working on it was of the time I spent at the Rohtang Pass in Himachal Pradesh, India few years back. And while you’re in midst of all the snow, the only thing that strikes in my head is that, nature has no mercy at all. Nature says, I’m going to snow. If you have on a bikini and no snowshoes, that’s tough. I am going to snow anyway.
